He was very engaging and knew about this topic, would recommend for someone new to android development. The thing I did not like was how he did not write the stuff in XML rather used drag and drop.

The course is very good for beginners, although the version is old, it still works well as long as you have experience!

An insight into the possibilities with Android is given. The speed is a bit slow, I would only recommend it to total beginners.
Then, you should be aware that you encounter a few bad coding practices, e.g. many work steps packed within a single function, or hard coded strings.
Selling this course as “complete” is a strong exaggeration. To name a few things I’ve missed: – App Architecture – Testing (!) – Activity Lifecycle – Fragment – Navigation – Threading – Service – Intent Filter – Broadcast Receiver – Notification – Custom Component

Instead, trivial processes (setting margins, inserting buttons) are repeated infinitely often.
